Frequently Asked Questions |
A notary embosser, also known as an embossing seal or notary seal embosser, is a tool used by notaries to create a raised, three-dimensional seal impression on documents as a form of authentication. |
Notaries use embossers to provide additional security and tamper resistance to notarized documents, enhance professionalism, and comply with legal requirements in some jurisdictions. |
The use of an embosser may be required by law in some jurisdictions, while it may be optional in others. Notaries should check their local notary regulations to determine whether an embosser is required or recommended. |
Embossed impressions do not fade over time, making them a durable choice for authenticating documents |
If your notary embosser is lost or stolen, report it to the appropriate authorities, such as your state notary commission, and follow their guidance for resolution. |

Lightweight Notary Embosser Seal
Kathi •
This is comfortable in my hand but also has a stand that it snaps into. This makes it easy to use on a desk as well. I selected the smaller size option as often times I have very little space for the seal.

I was very pleased with my recent experience with All State's ordering process, especially when it came to ordering a new embosser stamp after renewing my notary commission. Very impressed with their shipping - received my stamp just in time to continue notarial services without any time gaps.

Good Seal
Stacy •
The seal is sturdy and fits my hand well. Removing the seal and placing back inside the handle is quite convenient and it protects the seal. It's easy to use, and the pouch provided is good for storage.
This was such a great purchase, thank you!
